What this means in practice: when you click a product link on MAEVIN and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission from that sale at no additional cost to you. The product recommendations on MAEVIN are made independently — the presence or absence of affiliate links does not influence our spec board recommendations or editorial assessments.
Spec board product cards and curated pick links are Amazon Associate links. When you purchase a product through one of these links, Amazon credits a referral fee to MAEVIN's affiliate account. This is a standard arrangement that helps fund the operational costs of the platform.
Not every product on MAEVIN is an affiliate link — some products link to manufacturer sites, paint retailers, or home improvement stores where we don't have a commercial relationship. Where a link goes is indicated on the product card.
The specification recommendations on MAEVIN — including which products appear in each tier, how they're priced, and what finishes are suggested for a given room — are generated by Vee based on design analysis and are not influenced by affiliate relationships. In the event that any affiliate link appears on a product that is also mentioned in an editorial context, that mention is not compensated. Affiliate fees are earned only on completed purchases through direct links.
